The parade will be part of many Memorial Day weekend events in town, starting with. In case of rain, the memorial ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 28 at 1 p.m. in the Monroe Town Hall Council Chambers. Three veterans will be honored as a Grand Marshal: Henry F. Corts, United States Navy; Benjamin L. Meyers, United States Marine Corps; and Peter P. Rosaschi, United States Naval Reserves.The parade includes veterans, marching bands, color guards, civic organizations, classic cars and much more!Refreshments will be served to all marchers at the end of the parade and ceremonies, in the parking lot next to the Highland Mills Methodist Church, compliments of the Woodbury Memorial Day Parade Committee, prepared and served by the Woodbury Community Association.Portions of Route 32 in Woodbury along the Parade route will be closed during the duration of the parade.
